Founded in 2009, Canerows is our peer support service aimed at improving mental health care, particularly for people from BaME backgrounds
Our Ward Visitng team provide weekly visits to localmental health wards, offering supprt and discussing ways to improve their hospital experience.
Our Post Discharge Peer Support service provides additional support to eple in the months after they leave hospital.
Peer Workers will have themselves experienced mental ill health and have been in hospital and undergo accredited training for these roles as a requirement.

We will contact you before your courses starts. Classes are small and friendly and most courses are practical with no exams or written assignments (except for the Ward Visiting Courses).

Sound Minds does not follow a termly pattern – courses start and finish all year round.
Music tech courses are now taught on Logic or Reason software on Apple Macs.
